Nothing new

Thought I'd actually post something up to replace the rant on Art theft which is nearly a year old now. As usual, I'm not really drawing - although I do have some ideas that I'd like to do, I can't find the right frame of mind to work on them so nothing is being done. That and I'm not working (sort of anyway) so more of my time is going into that.

I've taken up spriting; at least it's one of the things I've been playing with recently, and it's not going too bad. ^^ I still need to practice, of course, but it's one of the things that just isn't being done at the moment, maybe I'll pick it up again in a few weeks or something.

I don't mind you having the pic up (you did draw it after all!) so it's fine leaving it up. And as for a proper link; I have no idea, I just use ordinary links - at least they work. *shrugs*

Seriously though, I'm not on here very often as I don't draw all that much. (As you can likely tell be the fact that I've only just read your comment).

Hopefully (soonish) I'll actually get on and do some of the DC themed drawings I have planned. ^^

hehe, Alvath being a dot was a joke tbh :-P wouldn't really do that to him :) I'll work something out tho...

that'd be great :) I'll probly try and colour it afterwards as well - I need the practice too >.< but chances are it'll go horribly wrong and never see light of day ;) if you're bored atm I could send you a reasonably large lineart file of my unicorn, cos not sure when I'll have an Alvath-Cloud pic. (For one thing I'm out of my favourite paper! *sob* was hoping to get to trago to get some more but didn't get a chance in the end :)) ...but you have made me want to try now again...

bdw what's a dragon sprite? :)

Yay! Colouring! I dun mind having a go at colouring your unicorn; I mean I'll try anything once :P
No favourite paper!? That's an outrage! I hope you can pick some up soon .. *really wants another C&A picture to play with* I should really start drawing my own x.X

A 'sprite' is a pixel image usually used in a game. I just posted one ^^ (Not a really good one but it's okay. *shoos* go see!)

dw, I have a habit of being over-subtle :)

I've gained a bit more of paper by rubbing out some old sketches that never worked anyway, but still somewhat short >.< anyways working on the dragonling pic I mentioned before atm... got it inked (and messed up in places) and unsure again how to continue to get the best result >.< lol,o well, I'll figure something out... but will probly finish that before trying to draw a C&A pic. You're welcome to play around with it if you'd like bdw... let me know if you want the lineart emailed.

yeah, saw your pic :) is pretty... made me curious... what kinda game? text-based or?

I dun think I'll take a copy of the line art at the moment, I'm currently going back and working on sprites for my older drawings. But you get any dragon piccies, I'd like to play with them if you don't mind :P

Sprites are used in lots of games. *doesn't know how to explain it* The Pokemon games used sprites. But the game that inspired me to draw a sprite is This one.
Most of the explaination for it lives on the forum. ^^ And This one's worth looking at too. The sprites that have been created for later use in the game. ^^

will email a copy of the dragonlings (have a small version up in my gallery cos I messed it up after taking that pic, but anyway... lol). Not sure when I'm going to be doing more drawing cos I signed up for NaNoWriMo and behind already >.<
